Serene Young At Heart by Asset Homes & Columbia Pacific Communities At Kochi – a New Era in Senior Living, Launched with Stone Laying Ceremony in Kochi

The foundation stone for Serene Young @ Heart – Kochi, a landmark senior living project, developed by Asset Homes in partnership with Columbia Pacific Communities as the service partner, was laid on November 10, 2025, at Pukkattupady, Kochi.

The event marked the formal beginning of a first-of-its-kind community designed to redefine senior living in Kerala. It was graced by Sri P. Rajeev, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Law and Coir, Government of Kerala, who inaugurated the ceremony and laid the first stone.

The proceedings began with a welcome address by Mr. Tony John, CEO of Asset Homes, followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting led by Sri P. Rajeev along with Mrs. Mini Ratheesh (President, Kizhakkambalam Grama Panchayat), Mr. Jiby Mathai (Ward Member, Kizhakkambalam Grama Panchayat), Ms. Asha Sharath (Brand Ambassador, Asset Homes), Mr. Rajagopal (Director & Group CEO, Columbia Pacific Communities), Dr. Reema (Director & Group COO, Lifebridge Senior Care Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Jerry Thomas Mathew (JV Partner), Mr. N. Mohanan (Director, Asset Homes), and Mr. V. Sunil Kumar (Founder & Managing Director, Asset Homes).

In his opening remarks, Mr. V. Sunil Kumar spoke about Asset Homes’ vision of catering to every stage of life, with Serene Young @ Heart marking a thoughtful expansion into senior living. The Hon’ble Minister, in his inaugural address, appreciated the project’s focus on creating an environment where seniors can live independently, with dignity and comfort.

The stone laying ceremony followed, led by Sri P. Rajeev, and key dignitaries including Ms. Asha Sharath, Mr. Jerry Thomas Mathew, Mr. Rajagopal, Dr. Reema, Mr. N. Mohanan, and Mr. V. Sunil Kumar. A gesture of gratitude was extended through the traditional dakshina and dhoti offering to the lead mason by Mr. V. Sunil Kumar.

The ceremony featured keynote addresses by Mr. Rajagopal and Dr. Reema, followed by presentations on Asset Homes, Columbia Pacific Communities, and KITES Senior Care. The sales brochure was released by Mrs. Asha Sharath to Mr. Gokul Pillai (CBO, Asset Homes), and the service brochure to Ms. Anju Venugopal (CIO, Asset Homes). The walkthrough video was unveiled by Mr. Pravin Gopal (CDO, Asset Homes), architect of the project.

A Memorandum of Understanding was exchanged between Rajagiri Hospital, represented by Dr. Nagesh P. Mallaya, and Asset Homes, represented by Mr. Tony John, establishing the project’s official hospital partnership. Bajaj Housing Finance Ltd. was also announced as the preferred home loan facility provider, with Mr. Sajan Roy (Zonal Manager, Bajaj Housing Finance Ltd.) presenting the certificate to Mr. Mahesh L (CTO, Asset Homes).

As a gesture of appreciation, Mr. V. Sunil Kumar felicitated members of the Asset Homes Premium Partner Club. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the inauguration of the Sales Office by Ms. Asha Sharath, Mock up Unit was inaugurated by Mr. George Dominic (Director, Casino Group of Hotels). The Scale Model was unveiled by Mr. Joseph Dominic (Director, Asset JGT Pvt Ltd.).
