55th National Safety Week Celebration & RM’s Meet at Asset Homes

Asset Homes successfully hosted the RM’s (Responsible Manager’s) Meet along with the 55th National Safety Week Celebration on 7 March 2026 at KMA House, Panampilly Nagar, Ernakulam. The event brought together leadership teams, project managers, engineers, and various department representatives to reinforce the organization’s strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing across projects.

National Safety Week is observed across industries to promote awareness and renew commitment to workplace safety, marking the foundation day of the National Safety Council of India and encouraging organizations to strengthen occupational health and safety practices.

RM’s Meet – Knowledge Sharing and Technical Discussions

The day began with registration followed by a prayer and welcome address by Ms. Aseena M S (AGM – Projects, Asset Homes). The meeting opened with an introduction by Mr. Mahesh L (CTO, Asset Homes), setting the tone for the day’s discussions on project management, engineering innovations, and construction best practices.

Several leadership insights were shared during the session. Mr. Pravin Gopal (CDO, Asset Homes) delivered a special message, while Mr. Glisson George (CE – QEST, Asset Homes) addressed the gathering on quality, engineering, safety, and technology initiatives within the organization. Mr. Sajith P N (Executive GM – Projects) further highlighted the importance of collaboration and operational efficiency in project execution. The technical sessions that followed focused on improving construction practices and project performance. These sessions encouraged interactive discussions and knowledge exchange among project managers and teams, helping to strengthen the company’s approach to efficient and safe construction.

Following the technical sessions, participants engaged in a group discussion aimed at identifying improvements in project execution, safety practices, and operational coordination across Asset Homes projects.

A special safety session was delivered by Mr. A. L. Jackson, Hon. Secretary of the National Safety Council (Kerala Chapter) and former Deputy General Manager – Safety Department at Cochin Shipyard. The session offered valuable insights into workplace safety practices and industry standards, making it both informative and highly beneficial for the participants.

The second half of the event was dedicated to the 55th National Safety Week Celebration, beginning with a prayer followed by welcome address by Mr. Roshan Lal (Sr. GM – Projects, Asset Homes). The ceremony included a Safety Pledge led by Mr. Jibin Kumar V S (AGM – HSE, Asset Homes), reaffirming the organization’s collective responsibility toward maintaining safe work environments across all project sites. The event also featured the Inaugural Address by Mr. Pramod Pushkaran, Director of Factories and Boilers, who emphasized the importance of proactive safety practices in the construction industry.

An inspiring message from Mr. V. Sunil Kumar, Founder & Managing Director of Asset Homes, reinforced the company’s unwavering commitment to safety as a core organizational value.

Additional messages on safety were shared by senior leaders from Asset Homes including Mr. Tony John (CEO, Asset Homes), Mr. Mahesh L (CTO, Asset Homes), Ms. Anju Venugopal (CIO), Mr. Gokul Pillai (CBO), and Mr. Sajith P N (Executive GM – Projects, Asset Homes). The celebration also included an award distribution ceremony recognizing individuals and teams who demonstrated exemplary safety practices and contributions to maintaining safe construction environments across Asset Homes projects.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Glisson George (CE – QEST, Asset Homes), followed by the national anthem and high tea.
