Dear friends,

The first month of the new financial year is over without much buzz and noise in the business side. The country is going through a fiercely contested general elections. People are busy with appraisals of the existing Government and are with expectations of a better future and better governance. Appraisals are always eye openers where a true analysis of all that happened is introspected. Even in organizations like ours, April is the month of annual appraisal. All of you might have gone through this process of understanding yourself through the eyes of the organisation. Congratulations to all who got promoted, rewarded and recognized for their appraised talents. The target is set and it reminds us about the extra effort to be put in to keep it achievable.

Asset Gulmohar, Kozhikode and Asset Canvas, Ernakulam were inaugurated in April. We have also announced 3 upcoming projects in Kozhikode. The improved version of the Mobile App of delight services was also got launched during the inauguration of Asset Canvas. The foundation stone of Asset Moon Grace, MG Road, Ernakulam was laid in April. The sample apartment at Asset Hillcrest Volga, Thiruvananthapuram was also Inaugurated in April.

We had the annual Advisory board meeting on 1st of April at Grand Hyatt. The Kannur branch was selected as the best branch of the financial year. MD’s Special Awards for exemplary performance to employees were also handed over during AB meeting. We have re started our marketing activities in USA. Mr. Shaji Kopath will be the new channel partner. Overall it was a healthy performing month for all departments and my due regards and wishes to the entire team for creating such an activity filled month.

Corporate wellness is the new buzz phrase. It isn’t a new concept, but one that has moved into the forefront in the minds of many businesses today. Since health care costs continue to sky rocket, business owners and managers are being forced to look at all costs related to their number one asset – their employees! Healthy employees are more productive employees. Better nutrition, more exercise, less stress should be the future slogan. We have to embrace wellness programs, which seek to help team members identify health risks, find necessary treatment and improve their diet and exercise habits, as a way to reduce absenteeism.

As an organisation which believes in the care and concern to team members, we have already introduced information mails and meals program. As a new financial year gift we have decided to provide health and medical insurance to all our employees and their family members who have completed their probation and one year service with us. We want our team to enjoy their work and family environment, and to bring the best of themselves to their career and personal life every day.
