Asset Homes Hosts the 34th Edition of Beyond Square Feet (BSF) Lecture Series
Asset Homes, one of Kerala’s leading real estate developers, successfully hosted the 34th edition of its flagship Beyond Square Feet lecture series on 6th June 2026 at Ramavarma Club, Kollam. The event brought together homebuyers, professionals, thought leaders, and sustainability advocates for an evening of insightful discussions on climate-conscious development and responsible living.
The programme commenced with the arrival of guests and a high tea session, followed by introductory remarks by the emcee. Welcoming the gathering, Mr. V. Sunil Kumar, Founder & Managing Director of Asset Homes, highlighted the company’s commitment to fostering meaningful conversations and knowledge-sharing platforms that address important social, environmental, and developmental issues beyond the realm of real estate. The keynote lecture was delivered by Mr. Rammohan Paliyath, Renowned Author, Editor, Communication Professional, and CEO of Prasiddhi Communications. Addressing the audience, he emphasized the need to rethink development practices in the context of Kerala’s unique ecological landscape. Highlighting the importance of preserving the state’s water bodies, wetlands, green cover, and traditional homestead farming culture, he called for a more balanced approach to development that coexists harmoniously with nature.
Mr. V. Sunil Kumar also spoke about Asset Homes’ continued focus on sustainable and environmentally responsible development. He highlighted Asset Around The Tree, the company’s landmark 125th project at Tripunithura, which is designed around the concept of preserving and enhancing green spaces. The project will feature nearly sixty open-space special trees will be planted across the project premises, creating a harmonious balance between modern living and nature.
He further elaborated on the sustainability initiatives integrated across Asset Homes project developments, including the use of solar energy, rainwater harvesting systems, water recycling and reuse for landscaping purposes, and green water treatment solutions. He also highlighted the incorporation of thermally efficient sliding doors and facades that help reduce air-conditioning requirements and overall energy consumption.
The lecture was followed by an engaging interaction session, during which attendees exchanged ideas with the speaker and explored various aspects of sustainable living and environmentally conscious development. The enthusiastic participation reflected the growing awareness among homebuyers regarding the importance of sustainability in the built environment.
